3. Type of project, size of building components, site, and construction area.

This project was a design/build project to construct a totally new facility for ENZOPAC, INC. a dry food product packaging firm. The building consisted of a 40,000 sq ft. warehouse, a plant area with two floors each containing 25,500 sq. feet and an office with two floors each containing 11,250 sq. feet for a total of 113,500 sq. feet. The warehouse was pre-engineered steel, the plant was all precast and the office had a structural steel framework with an E.I.F.S. exterior.

4. Scope of service performed.

Quasius Construction provided the full range of construction services for this project including site assessment and selection, preliminary design and cost studies, value engineering, final design and cost development and compete project management. We self performed the following work on the project: site concrete, building concrete, masonry, rough and finish carpentry and plastic laminate casework.

The majority of the change orders were Owner directed. A compressed air system was added in the plant. Two compactors were added in the warehouse and many of the interior finishes in the office were upgraded after final design.
